William J. Forward

William J. Forward, 80, of Aurora, passed away peacefully with his wife Annie and his children by his side on Saturday January 20, 2024, in Northern Pines Car Center, Aurora.  He was born in Bemidji, MN on March 16, 1943, to William and Gertrude Forward.  Bill retired from Longyear Drilling as a Foreman after 39 ½  years.  He was an avid hunter, and he enjoyed camping with his family in his younger years.  He married Annarose Berdice on August 24, 1963, they celebrated their 60^th wedding anniversary this past summer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim “Bubba” Forward, and a sister Bonnie Prichard.

He is survived by his wife Annie, daughter Susan (Kyle) Engelstad, son James (Sherri) Forward, and a daughter Kori (Charlie) Castle, grandchildren Joe, Sam, Charlie, and Austin, great-grandchildren Lyla, Kendall, Easton, Lincoln, Watson, Carson, and Ashton, sister Shirley Tisdell, nephews Tim, Jeff, and Don, a niece Shelia, and very special friends Lonnie Tschappett and Bob Stevens.
