Tammy L. Azure

A gathering of family and friends of Tammy Louise Azure, 52, of Aurora, will be 10am-12noon Friday, December 27, 2024 at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora.

Tammy died Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Essentia Health – St. Mary’s in Duluth, Minnesota.

She was born June 8, 1972 in Virginia, Minnesota to Ervin and Helen (Wells) Azure. She attended Gilbert and Mesabi East Schools and was a homemaker. Tammy especially enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her mother, Helen Azure of Hoyt Lakes; father, Ervin (Roberta) Azure of Wolf Point, Montana; children: Tasha Azure, Justina Ward and Trevor Conklin; grandchildren: Zaydin and Zaryah; sister, Dawn Wells; several nieces and nephews and her caregiver, Bonnie Thiel.

She is preceded in death by her children: Jared Peterson, Devin Peterson and Santana Azure and a sister, Robin Wells.
