Stuart Leo LaBrosse, 52, of Aurora, Minnesota, passed away on March 11, 2026, from complications of Multiple Sclerosis.
Stu was born on June 1, 1973, in Hibbing, Minnesota, to his mother, Cathy (Monson) Peterson of Aurora, Minnesota, and his father, Sheldon (Shelly) LaBrosse of Port Charlotte, Florida.
Stu will be remembered for his strength, resilience, and the love he shared with those around him. Despite the challenges he faced with Multiple Sclerosis, he continued to show determination and courage throughout his life. Stu was an avid bike rider. loved the outdoors, camping & nature. Even though he had MS he made the solo bike ride to raise money & awareness for MS from Maine to the west coast ending back in Ventura, CA and video journaled the expedition which can be viewed on www.youtube.com/@mswarrior932

He is survived by his mother, Cathy (Monson) Peterson of Aurora, Minnesota; his father, Sheldon (Marie) LaBrosse of Port Charlotte, Florida; and daughter, Kimberly (Kimmy) LaBrosse (Payson, AZ), Step siblings: Suzanne, Erica and Jeff Starnes; many family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A Celebration of Life for Stu’s life will be held on Noon Thursday, June 25, 2026 at the Balkan Community Center, 6061 Hwy 73, Chisholm, MN
