Sally Marie Olson

Sally Marie Olson, 80, of Aurora, MN, passed away unexpectedly on May, 24, 2026.

Sally was born on November 24, 1945, in Grand Rapids, MN, to Peter and Frances “Tinnie” Morrow. She shared a special bond with her twin brother, Peter, who preceded her in death in 2019. 

In 1965, Sally married David Olson and together they built a life and raised their family in Aurora. Sally worked as a homemaker and spent many years caring for elderly individuals, many of whom became cherished friends. Sally was artistic and enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, spending time with her beloved cats, Pebbles and LG, and collecting treasures over the years. She was active in her community and valued the friendships she made throughout her life. 

She is survived by her daughter, Michele (Brian); son, Mathew; grandchildren Nicholas, Hannah (Justin), Thomas, and Tyler; and great grandchildren Jareth, Salem, Lilliie, Peyton, and Maren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Olson, in 2020; her twin brother, Peter, in 2019; and her parents, Peter and Frances “Tinnie” Morrow.

A  Celebration of Life will take place from 1-4 PM on Sunday, June 14th, at the American Legion in Aurora.
