Richard "Rick" Gorsuch

A Gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m Friday, January 12, 2024 at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. 

Richard “Rick” Jay Gorsuch, 55, of Eveleth died Thursday, January 4, 2024.  He was born on May 16, 1968 to Betty Kremer in Van Nuys, CA.  He grew up and attended Aurora-Hoyt Lakes High School, Class of 1986.  Rick worked various construction jobs throughout his life.  He met Lisa Lannroos in 2005 and the couple made their home in Eveleth.  Rick enjoyed fishing, bonfires, snowmobiling and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his daughter: Lindsey (Anthony) Wald of Grand Rapids and their children: Keegan and Rylan; wife, Lisa Lannroos of Eveleth; brothers: Steve (Jackie) Gorsuch and Michael Tracy; sisters: Susan (Shane) Wilson and Denise Gorsuch; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Doreen Gorsuch and his parents.
