Parker C. Johnson

A Celebration of Life for Parker Charles Johnson, 24, of Hibbing, formerly of Gilbert, will be 11am on Monday, December 1, 2025 at United In Christ Lutheran Church in Eveleth with Pastor Jeanne Madsen officiating. Friends may gather one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Gilbert Cemetery. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatva Funeral Home in Gilbert.

Parker died Sunday, November 2, 2025 in Hibbing, Minnesota.

Parker was born on November 1, 2001 to Kari Salo and Richard Johnson. He was a 2020 graduate of Eveleth-Gilbert High School. He grew up playing hockey from Mini-Mites to Bantams wearing both Virginia and Eveleth-Gilbert colors, but his heart always wore black and gold, he will forever be a Golden Bear. He enjoyed playing hockey with his cousins, brother Aidan and sister Samantha, a sport he held so close to him. His love of the game never ended. He enjoyed going to any game whether it was watching his siblings, a local youth team, MN Wild, UMD, MN Frost, or his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs (even though they have not won a Stanley Cup since 1967).

Parker was passionate about music as it was a way to express himself by writing and singing songs or taking long drives just listening to music that he made a connection with. He also enjoyed taking pictures and creating montages for friends and special events. Some of his creations can still be seen on his Facebook. Parker also had a love of food and condiments. Whether it was creating something, dousing it in some kind of sauce, or going to a restaurant that he had seen on TikTok.

Parker loved spending time with his family, especially his siblings and cousins. Making sure to make it to the holidays to see them. He was so proud of his little brother and sister, he loved them so much. But the love and bond between him and his Grandma Linda was like no other, she gave him unconditional love and support which gave him a sense of being understood and made him feel that he could always turn to her.

Survivors include his parents: Kari (Robert) Zeiher of Gilbert and Richard (Jessica) Johnson of Eveleth; Girlfriend: Mia Dolinich; siblings: Samantha Zeiher and Aidan Johnson; step-brothers: Brenden and Brian Zeiher; Uncles: Jamie Hendrickson, Dan (Corinne) Johnson, Jeremy (Amber) Johnson, David (Kayla) Johnson, Jake Johnson, Jim Peterson and Darren (Ashley) Prout; Aunt: Dawn (Curt) Ranger; Cousins: Evan Hendrickson, Kaylee (Kalen) Kline, Gage, Addison, Jagger, Naomi, David Jr, Bentley and Gemma Johnson and Hailee Prout; and his grandparents: Richard Salo, Linda Salo, Connie (Stan) Lustik, Darren and Karrie Prout, and Robert and Mary Zeiher.

Preceded in death by Grandfather, David Johnson, cousins: Jonah and Angel Hendrickson and Ava Prout; and beloved cat, Simba (aka Mittens) and dog, Rocky.
