Linda Lou Nori, 71, of Palo, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at her home.
She was born on September 16, 1973, to William and Selmi (Hietala) Lusti in Park Rapids, Minnesota. She grew up and attended high school in Virginia and was a 1971 graduate. It was at this time that she met the love of her life, Gary Nori. The couple married on February 24, 1973. Their marriage was blessed with one son, Adam, in 1985.
Linda acquired her hairdresser’s license in 1972. She worked as a stylist for many years, from her time in Regis Hair Salon in California to opening her own salon in Aurora, Minnesota, aptly named “Linda’s Klip and Kurl.” Later in life, Linda enjoyed being a homemaker.
Linda enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and celebrating her Finnish heritage at any chance she was given. More than anything, she loved spending time with her husband of 52 years, Gary, as the two of them were inseparable, enjoying adventures ranging from camping to garage parties where Linda would play hostess by encouraging others to “help yourselves” and “make yourself at home.”
Preceding Linda in death are her parents, William and Selmi; sisters, Millie, Beverly, and Marcie; and brothers, Willie, Marvin, Milton, and Bobby.
Linda is survived by her husband, Gary Nori; son, Adam (Leah) Nori; grandchildren, Harper Grace and Hunter Dean; mother-in-law, Norma Heikkila; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
