Lea'ette Frost

A gathering of family and friends for Lea’ette Renee Frost, 59, of rural Gilbert will be held from 4-6 pm Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. Lea died Monday, April 22, 2019 at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth. She was born on October 22, 1959 to Dennis Sr. and Katherine (Sanders) Ethier in Hibbing. Lea graduated from the Hibbing High School and continued her education in veterinary assisting.   Lea married Wayne Frost on March 23, 1989.  The couple made their home in Hutter where they hobby farmed.  Lea loved all her animals.  She also took great pleasure in her extended family of children whom she loved dearly.  She was a collector of a variety of things and enjoyed rummage sales and auctions.  Lea was a fan of Duck Dynasty and crime themed TV shows.  She also enjoyed watching sports especially WWE wrestling and the Minnesota Vikings.  Survivors include her husband of 30 years: Wayne; one daughter, Kristina Frost; a brother, Dennis Ethier Jr.; father-in-law, Vergil Frost; very special adopted sister, Caroline Mattson; brothers and sisters in-law and their spouses; as well as several nieces, nephews, and chosen children that were very close and dear to her heart. She was preceded in death by a sister, Claudette; mother-in-law, Geraldine Frost; and her parents.
