Kathleen Swanson

Kathy was born in Eveleth to Ida and John Knaus.  She attended school in Gilbert, MN.  She worked many jobs including F&D Meats, Meyer Teleservices and Finger Hut, where she made many friends.  Once you were Kathy's friend, you were her friend for life.  She enjoyed hockey games, plays, traveling, walks, water aerobics and playing with her great niece and great nephew, Brayden and Brielle.  She especially loved to listen to The McCullough Brothers.  Kathy is survived by a daughter, Lisa McNamee (Shoden); grandchildren: Cody, Jordyn, Michael, Chandler, Breanna, Amanda, Dylan and Gabriel.  She was preceded in death by her son, Eric Jurenic; sisters: Ida "Tweetsy" Jegloski and Jeanne Bartman; and her parents.

Please join us for a celebration of life Friday, July 18, 2025 from 11-2 p.m. at the Gilbert VFW where Pastor Mary Lou Sixberry will lead us in prayer.
