Memorial mass for Judith Ann Trunzo, 82, of Mt. Iron, will be 10am Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Gilbert with Fr. Babu as celebrant. Friends may gather one hour prior to the mass at church. Burial will be in the Gilbert Cemetery. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert.
Judith died Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Diamond Willow assisted living in Mt. Iron, Minnesota.
She was born October 6, 1940 in Elcor Location to Anthony and Julia (Sersha) Trunzo. Judith was a graduate of Gilbert High School and later moved to Arizona where she lived for 28 years. She worked as a bartender at the Avi Casino in Laughlin for 18 years.
Her husband of 28 years, Wilbur Snodgrass, passed away on March 25, 2022. Following his death, Judith moved to Mt. Iron. Some of her favorite activities were washing dishes and clothes, going for walks, eating ice cream treats and playing video poker at the casino.
Survivors include her son, Richard Nelson Jr. (Rhonda) of Gilbert; grandchildren: Kristy Skahl (Walt) and Bryant Nelson; great granddaughter, Kaylee (Kalen) Kline; siblings: Donald Trunzo, Gerald Trunzo (Linda), John (Judy) Trunzo, Debbie (Bruce) Grewcock, Rod (Jill) Trunzo and Denise (Rune) Holm; several nieces and nephews and former spouse, Richard Nelson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Julia; husband, Wilbur, and daughter, Tami.
