Jim White was born on June 13, 1961 in Aurora to Bruce and Donna White and passed away peacefully on October 30th, 2025 at Essentia Health in Duluth surrounded by loved ones.
Jim loved the outdoors. He enjoyed his rural property, farming, hunting at the shack, and fishing on the river. Younger days spent enjoying many trips with his dad and brother backpacking, canoeing up the St. Louis River, camping out by the rapids before the hunting shack was built. Always busy with a variety of garage projects, a genuine mechanical genius. Just days before his passing he completed mechanical work on the John Deere Cat dozer, he was so proud of. Jim's sense of humor was unmatched. His "wise-cracking" was hilarious and you would always leave with a grin on your face. He was down to earth, easy going, and never caught up in material things. He was a generous person helping whomever needed a hand. Not a religious go'er but his naturally kind and helping heart was an admirable Christian trait.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Donna White.
Survived by the love of his life Colleen Ross, her children Wanda (Chris) Cid, Kyle (Brooke) Ross, Colleen’s parents Ed and Judy Casey, his fur babies Zoe, Molly, and Barney, his sister Kim(Dave) Karkoska, his brother Jason(Andrea) White, nieces and nephews Jill(Jason), Joe, Katelyn (Luke), Cassidy (Tyler), several bonus grandkids, great nieces and nephews, along with so many friends and extended family.
A celebration of life will be held from 1:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, November 16th at the Loon Lake Community Center (Palo School), 3816 Hwy 100, Aurora, MN.
