Jeffrey “Rat” Hall

Jeffrey Lynn Hall, 72, of Eveleth, died on Monday, September 8, 2025 at The Waterview Woods in Eveleth.

He was born March 1, 1953 to Alvey and Lorna (Rivers) Hall in Eveleth, where he was raised and lived. Jeff was united into marriage to Addy Mattson on January 29, 2003. Jeff worked as a millwright in the construction industry serving the local iron mines.

Jeff enjoyed his cats – inside and outside. His two rescue cats, Fanny B and Billie Bob kept him very busy. He loved spending time hunting at the shack in Sax telling hunting stories with the hunting crew.

Survivors include his brothers: John Hall and Jerry (Randee Erjavec) Hall and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeff is preceded in death by his wife, Addy and his parents, Alvey and Lorna.

He enjoyed life and will be missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with burial in the Eveleth Cemetery. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert.
