Biwabik

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the Biwabik Pavilion with Pastor Jeanne Madsen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be the Lakeside Cemetery in Biwabik. Arrangements are by the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert.

Jack Gregory Larson, 68, of Biwabik died peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at his home surrounded by family.

Jack was born on December 16, 1956 to Jack W. and Angela M. (Scheuring) Larson in Virginia, MN. Growing up in Biwabik, Jack was very involved in Little League baseball. Not only as a player, but in his later years coaching. He attended Horace Mann High School, where he continued his love for sports, graduating in 1975. Following graduation, Jack attended Bemidji State University to further his baseball career. Eventually he moved on to UMD to attain a Master in Safety degree. Jack worked as the Director of Arrowhead Transit in Gilbert, MN. He retired after twenty-five gratifying years. Being an avid outdoorsman, Jack decided to go full guns into hunting and fishing after retiring. He also remained a very active member of Ducks Unlimited and the 5-0 Rod and Gun Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Angela; and his niece Kimmy Carlson.

Survivors include two brothers: Mike (Jonica) Larson, Wayne (Dominique and Colton) Larson and sister, Terri (Curt) Carpenter. Proud Uncle Jack is also survived by nieces and nephews: Adam (Cari) Carlson, Jackie Larson, Jessie Larson, and John (Kayla) Larson. Prouder yet of his great-nieces and nephew: Angie Carlson, Adam Carlson, Jr., and Jasmine Larson.
