David Martin Smolich, 84, of Aurora died Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Essentia Health-Northern Pines in Aurora. He was born on July 7, 1941 to John and Violet (Mattson) Smolich
Survivors include his sister, Linda Murphy; brother-in-law, George Baum; and two nieces: Jackie (Todd) Mueller and Jodi (Doug) Saegegger.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Elinor Baum; and his parents.
No services will be held per David’s wishes. He will be inurned into the Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora. Arrangements are by the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home of Aurora.
