Bruce Allan Boerger passed away in Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s in Duluth.
Bruce was born in Aurora, Minnesota on April 18, 1958. Upon graduating high school he enlisted in the US Army in June of 1976. He worked for many years as a mechanic and had a true passion for the trade.
Bruce loved his wife Sharon, and his family and friends. He loved working on anything with a motor and searching for the next great deal and buying it. He also loved animals especially dogs. He liked hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
He had a wonderful sense of humor, always cracking a joke or telling a funny story. He was a kind, loving, gentle man. He would do anything for anyone. He will be missed so very much. Bruce was loved by all who knew him.
Survived by Sharon Boerger, LeRoy (Betty) Boerger, Bryan Boerger, Bennett Boerger, Bonnie (Wayne) Deitrich, Kevin, Dale and Craig Lehtinen. Children, Bob (Barrie) Moberg, Marie (Gary) Moberg. Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, and many friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Military honors will be accorded by the Aurora-Hoyt Lakes Color Guard. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora. Arrangements are by the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home.
