Funeral Mass for Beth Elaine Anderson, 84, of Hoyt Lakes, will be 10am Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Our Lady of Hope Parish in Hoyt Lakes with Fr. Peter Lambert as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7pm with recitation of the rosary at 6:30pm at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora.  Visitation will also be one hour prior to the mass at church on Saturday.  Burial will be in the Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery.

 

Beth died Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at St. Michael’s Health and Rehab in Virginia, MN.

 

She was born September 25, 1934 in Bena, Minnesota to Clarence and Bertha (Duncan) Carpenter. Beth was a graduate of Greenway High School and later married James Anderson on March 28, 1962.

 

Beth owned and operated several restaurants during her lifetime. Most recently she managed the Hoyt Lakes Golf Course for five years.  She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and its Council of Catholic Women.  Beth was a devoted mother and especially enjoyed time spent with family.

 

Survivors include her children: Cynthia (Don) Peden, Curt Anderson, Mark Anderson and Mike Anderson; grandchildren: Dana, Macy, Tuesday and Ashley; great grandchildren: Kadin and Dane; brother, Dave (Julie) Carpenter; several nieces and nephews.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Bertha; husband, James; daughter, Debra; brothers, Robert and Ron; sister, Lois.
