Memorial Service for Alice Marie LeMoine, 88, of Aurora, will be 11am Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at United Methodist Church in Aurora with Pastor Barbara Hegfors officiating. Friends may gather one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora.
Alice died Monday, June 9, 2025 at Essentia Health – Northern Pines in Aurora, Minnesota.
She was born May 11, 1937 in Duluth, Minnesota to Weldon and Veryle (Boggess) Anderson. Alice was a graduate of Denfeld High School and later worked for Mesabi Daily News. On September 13, 1958 she married Rodney G. LeMoine. Following her marriage, she worked in the cafeteria at Aurora-Hoyt Lakes High School. She retired from there as head cook with 29 years of service.
Alice was a active member of United Methodist Church in Aurora. She enjoyed working jig saw puzzles, reading and watching a good murder mystery show. She and Rodney were meticulous caretakers of their home and enjoyed remodeling projects and planting flower gardens. She especially cherished the time she spent visiting with family.
Survivors include her children: Jodi Bergh of Duluth and James (Sheila) LeMoine of Aurora; Nine Grandchildren: Liz Bergh, Rachel Bergh, Jessica Huffman (Frank), Sarah Softich (Mark), Joni Tupy (Curt), Liz Henderson, Bryan Sieh (Elissa), Jonathon Oltmanns (Jenna) and Maureen Neustel (David); 15 great grandchildren; sister, Patricia Lund of Virginia; son-in-law, Tim Sieh of Duluth along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Weldon and Veryle; husband, Rodney; daughter, Lani Sieh; son-in-law, Roger Bergh; brother, Donald Anderson.
