Funeral Service for Doris Jane Oman, 78, of Palo, will be 10am Saturday, May 27, 2017 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Palo with Pastor Eric Thiele officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Rauha Cemetery in Palo. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Doris died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Essentia Health – Virginia, MN. Doris was born March 27, 1939 in Biwabik to Eli and Alice (Johnson) Nori. She was a 1957 graduate of Aurora High School and later married Albert Oman on June 28, 1958. She was an avid photographer who loved to travel and dance. Music, camping, fishing and tending to her hostas were some of her favorite pass times. Spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends were of utmost importance. Survivors include her husband, Albert; children: Carrie (Marty) of St. Cloud, Scott (Nancy) of Cloquet, Kevin (Michelle) of Palo and Keith of Palo; grandchildren: Lisa, Kelly, Jason, Abby, Matthew, Lizzy and Kristopher. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Alice; brother, Ray Nori and grandson, Michael Popovich.
