Albin "Beanie" Boben

Albin John “Beanie” Boben, 99, of Palo, passed away at his home on November 13, 2016. At his request, a private family graveside service will take place at a later date in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora, MN. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home. Albin was born July 10, 1917 in Aurora, MN to John and Mary (Paulisich) Boben. Beanie was employed by the Town of White until his retirement in 1984. He received his first accordion at the age of seven, and for seventy-five years has provided accordion music for many social events. He continued playing until the age of 90. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Gerrie; children: Greg, Jerolyn (Pat), LuAnn and Guy; grandchildren: Lee (Kelli), Janna (Alex), Paige and Nicholas; one great grandchild, Gage; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: John, Tony, Eddie and Louis; sisters: Mary, Angela and Jean.
