Memorial service for Janice Lorraine Hall, 77, formerly of Gilbert, will be 11am Wednesday November 25, 2015 at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert with Pastor Rod Tuomi officiating. Friends may gather one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in the Gilbert Cemetery. Janice died Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Augustana Health Care in Moose Lake, MN. She was born September 14, 1938 in Eveleth, MN to Donald and Lila (Harju) Sorila. Janice was a graduate of Gilbert High School and later attended Minneapolis School of Business. On October 5, 1957 she married Harvey Hall. Janice worked for the American Red Cross and was its executive secretary for three years. Janice was also a homemaker, a member of the Gilbert United Methodist Church, a Girl Scout leader and Food Shelf volunteer. Survivors include her daughters: Wendy Hall of Hibbing, Lori (Jack) Sislo of Superior, Jodie (Jack) Cairl of Willow River and Tracey Paugh of Bell Fontaine, OH; grandchildren: Jason and Benjamin (Sara Childs) Burleigh, Courtney Hurlbert, Cassandra (Kevin) Prochaska, Timothy Sislo and Makala Paugh; great grandchildren: Eli Prochaska and Keziah Ozzello and one expected great grandchild in April; sister, Lynn (Steve) Landgren of Prior Lake and two nieces, Katie and Kristen; her canine companion, Furby. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey and sister, Sandra.
