Pamela Homola

December 10, 1960 — August 30, 2015

A celebration of life gathering of friends and family for Pamela J. Homola, 54, of Gilbert will be held at 1 pm Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Gilbert VFW. Interment will be in the Gilbert Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. Pamela Jo Homola died Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth. She was born on December 10, 1960 to Arthur and Evelyn (Bryce) Geller in Bemidji, MN. She grew up and attended school in Bemidji. Pamela’s passion was her crafts. She spent her past time making crafts including “up north” and holiday items and selling them at craft fairs. She also did woodworking with her husband. Pamela had been employed by the Eveleth-Gilbert Schools for 17 years and will be remembered as a influential role model to many students throughout the years. Pamela was united in marriage to John Homola on June 3, 1980. Pamela enjoyed music and singing, spending time at the lake, camping, handing out treats, watching the Hallmark Channel. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband: John; three children: Charity (Chuck) Kauder, Zachary Homola, and Brittany (Austin) Kjenaas; grandchildren: Logan, John and Wynter Kauder, Alana Homola, and Jewelann Holappa; nine siblings: Mary (Pete) Johannsen, Barb (Arne Christianson) Evans, Rose (Al) Stecker, Patricia (Donald) Eichstadt, Jack (Darlene) Geller, Tom (Julie) Geller, Jerry ( Joy) Geller, Ken (Deb) Geller, and Penny (Bill) Roberts; three sisters-in-law: Nancy (Mike) Ralston, Cathy (Thomas) Lautigar, and Mary (Max) Pummell; her mother-in-law: Marcella Homola; numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends; and her little puppy, Stormy. She was preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Evelyn Geller; a sister: Donna (Chuck) Hagenah; a brother: Jim Geller; nephews: Lee Geller and Jordan Adams-Meckola; niece: Cherie Pummell; and father-in-law: William Homola.
